The charter for Local #84 states the jurisdiction as the construction industry in the Mid-Western States. Currently membership in Local #84 is located in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Local 84 has members that are general and sub-contractors engaged in residential, retail/commercial and industrial construction.
Local #84 was formed by charter through the Christian Labor Association of the United States of America in 1966. The local has a long established multi-employer defined benefit pension fund which is 100% fully funded, it provides the members with retirement benefits and a health insurance program which affords its members economical health care coverage, life insurance and short-term disability benefits.

Local 78 has members that are in the highway heavy, site development, commercial and residential construction, aggregate production, asphalt maintenance, water and sewer, concrete curb & gutter and flat work.
Local 78 was started in 1965 and provides life, health, dental and short-term disability insurances along with defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, which are fully funded, along with an optional 401(k) plan.

The charter for Local #8 was established in 1999 and provides health, life, 401(k), short-term disability, eye care and dental plan options for its members. Local 8 is rapidly growing due to the reasonably priced health benefit packages available to its members.

Open Enrollment Periods
The yearly period when people can enroll in a health insurance/dental plan. But your coverage doesn’t start immediately.
- Health insurance enrollment period is from November 15 to December 20. Coverage starts January 1. 2019.
- Dental insurance enrollment period from May 1 to June 15. Coverage starts July 1. 2018.
There is also a Special Enrollment Period for qualifying events.
